Calculate your price without a quote
With print work the price depends on a handful of choices, and you make all of them here. Once you have picked a product, you set the format, the page count, the paper, the binding and the print run. The price moves with you, so you can see immediately what a heavier paper or a hundred extra copies costs. There is no quote to wait for.
What decides the price
Page count and print run weigh heaviest: together theydetermine how much paper goes through the press. Then comes the binding. A saddle-stitched booklet is the cheapest, a glued softcover sits just above it, and a hardcover is the most expensive because board, printed paper and extra handwork are involved. The paper matters too: coated paper for photographs costs more than woodfree offset paper for text. What each paper does is set out under paper and materials.
From price to order
Once you are happy with the configuration, you upload your PDF and we check the file before it goes to press. Make sure your document has 3 mm bleed, embedded fonts and images of at least 300 dpi; that avoids most delays. The full requirements are under supplying files, and Adobe explains how to include those settings on export.
