Which format suits a travel book?
For travel book printing, the format depends on your photographs. If you have mostly landscape and panorama shots, A4 landscape works best, with less cropping. A square format such as 21 × 21 cm or 30 × 30 cm is versatile, since both portrait and landscape images fit well.
For a compact travel book you can carry or give away easily, A5 or 20 × 20 cm works well. A sewn hardcover lies flat, so a panorama runs across two pages without disappearing into the gutter.
