The format decides how the book sits in the hand and what it costs. The binding decides how long it lasts: <a href=\"https:\/\/printiteasy.eu\/en\/knowledge-base\/types-of-books\/hardcover-or-softcover\/\">hardcover or softcover<\/a> changes both the feel and the price. The paper decides how your photos and text come across, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/printiteasy.eu\/en\/knowledge-base\/paper-materials\/\">heavier or coated paper<\/a> feels different straight away. And the file decides whether the result really matches what you saw on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are publishing yourself, there is one more step. To sell through bookshops or online retailers you need an ISBN, issued in the UK by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nielsenisbnstore.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nielsen ISBN Store<\/a>.
