You upload your photos, choose a format and spread the images across the pages. For each page you can pick one large photo, a grid of smaller images, or a combination with text. Everything you place appears immediately at its true proportions, so you can see exactly how the book will look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Watch the resolution of your photos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most important condition for a good photo book is the quality of your images. A photo that looks sharp on screen can turn out grainy on paper: printing needs 300 dpi at the size the photo is actually printed. An image of 1000 by 1500 pixels is therefore fine for half an A5 page, but too small for a full-page image on A4. Photos taken straight from a phone are usually more than good enough; images forwarded through a chat app often are not, because they are compressed along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Paper, size and cover<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coated paper works best for photo books: the smooth coating stops the ink from spreading, which keeps colours deeper and sharper. A weight of 135 to 170 gsm also gives a firm page that does not show through. For the cover, a <a href=\"https:\/\/printiteasy.eu\/en\/hardcover-books\/\">hardcover<\/a> is the usual choice, because a photo book is normally meant to last for years.
